Verkada devices use the Domain Name System (DNS) server to resolve Verkada's fully qualified domain names (FQDN) to IP addresses to communicate with them. A successful test confirms that your network is able to resolve domain names correctly.

Verkada Endpoints
Verkada devices require access to several services to ensure they can connect to Command and operate properly. The Verkada Endpoints test checks if your network can reach the services used for device communication, video streaming, and updates through HTTP GET requests. A successful test confirms that your network can connect to all required Verkada endpoints.
Network Quality measures your network's performance by simulating real-world data transfers to Cloudflare's public speed test servers. The results help determine how suitable your network is for Verkada cameras streaming, software updates, and device configuration. We use Aggregated Internet Measurement (AIM) to calculate a tailored network score based on your upload speed, latency, jitter, and packet loss.
